Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Linq digital business cards: pricing, sharing, saving contacts, privacy, languages and teams.

Is Linq free?

Yes. On the Free plan you can create, publish and share your digital business card and collect contacts for as long as you like. Linq Pro, at $5.99 a month, adds up to 10 cards, teams, 30 and 90-day insights, a custom card link, contact export and notes, more documents, any card color and no Linq branding. See Plans and billing.

How do I pay for Pro, and can I cancel?

Subscribe from Plan in the app and pay through PayPal; Linq never sees your card details. Cancel anytime from Plan or from PayPal: you won’t be charged next month, and you keep Pro until the end of the month you’ve paid for. Payments already made aren’t refunded. See Plans and billing and our Refund Policy.

Do people need an app to see my card?

No. Your card is a web page, so it opens in any browser on iPhone, Android or a computer.

Do I need a physical card?

No. Linq works with your link and QR code. Show the QR code on your phone or lock screen, print it, or put it in your email signature and video calls with the Share kit. An NFC card is an optional extra; see Physical NFC cards.

Can I order a physical Linq card?

Yes, soon. In Physical cards, select Order a card to design yours: pick a style and what goes on each side. We’re opening orders country by country, so checkout adds you to the waitlist and we’ll email you when you can order. Your design stays saved. See Physical NFC cards.

How do I use a Linq card I already have?

Open Physical cards and enter the serial number and PIN printed on the card under Already have a Linq card?. See Register a card you already have.

Does my QR code change when I edit my card?

No. Your link and QR code stay the same when you edit your card, so printed QR codes keep working and show your latest details. If you switch to a custom card link with Pro, your QR code shows the new link, and your old link and QR codes keep opening your card.

How do people save my contact?

They tap Save contact on your card. They get a standard contact file (vCard) with your name, title, company, phone, email, WhatsApp number, website and bio, which they can add to Contacts on iPhone or Android.

Can I have more than one card?

Yes, with Linq Pro you can have up to 10 cards, such as one per business or role, and switch between them in the app. See Use more than one card.

Can I use my company’s colors?

Yes. Every plan can choose from eight preset colors. With Pro, select + under Card color in My card and pick any color, such as your brand color. See Edit your card.

Can I hide my card for a while?

Yes. Turn off Live in My card. Your details stop showing until you turn it back on, and nothing is deleted. See Publish, hide and unpublish your card.

What information do visitors see?

Only what you add to your card, plus any documents you’ve marked Public. See What people see when they open your card.

Where do the contacts in Contacts come from?

From people who choose to send you their details from your card, with the Stay in touch form or the two-way exchange after they save your contact, and from people you add yourself. Linq doesn’t collect information about people who only view your card. Views are counted anonymously in Insights.

Can I add someone I met in person?

Yes, on every plan. In Contacts, select Scan to read their QR code (a Linq card, a vCard or another contact code), or Add contact to type their details. If they use Linq too, you can send them your details in the same step. See Scan and add contacts.

Can Linq remind me to follow up?

Yes. When you edit a contact, set a follow-up for tomorrow, in 3 days, next week or any date. Due follow-ups show on your Home screen and under the Follow-ups filter in Contacts. See Context and follow-ups.

Can Linq send contacts to my CRM?

Yes, with Linq Pro. In Settings → Integrations, add a webhook URL from Zapier, Make, a HubSpot workflow or your own server, and every new contact is sent there as soon as they’re added. See Send contacts to your CRM.

How do I add my card to my email signature?

Open the Share kit, pick a layout and select Copy signature, then paste it into your signature settings in Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail. The Share kit also makes a video call background and a lock screen wallpaper with your QR code.

Which languages does Linq support?

English, French and Arabic, including a full right-to-left layout in Arabic. See Settings, language and password.

Can my team use Linq?

Yes, with Linq Pro. The owner subscribes, creates a team and invites colleagues by email; each gets an on-brand team card. Pro includes 3 seats (the owner and two colleagues), and each extra member is $2.99 a month. Colleagues join with a free account. See Teams.

How do I delete a document from my card?

Go to Documents and select the trash icon next to it, or use the eye icon to hide it temporarily. See Add documents to your card.
