Cookie Policy

The cookies and similar storage Linq uses on this website, in the web app and on public cards, what each one is for, and how to control them.

Last updated October 24, 2026

The short version

  • In the app, we only use what's needed to keep you signed in and remember your language.
  • Public cards don't use tracking cookies: views are counted without them.
  • This website uses Google Analytics cookies to understand how many people visit and which pages help.

This summary helps you find your way; the full text below is what applies.

  2. On this website (linq-business.com)
  3. In the Linq app (app.linq-business.com)
  4. On public cards (app.linq-business.com/p/…)

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, like your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. “Cookies” in this policy covers both.

On this website (linq-business.com)

NameProviderWhat it’s forKept for
_gaGoogle AnalyticsTells visits apart, to count visitors2 years
_ga_51KCCEM6MLGoogle AnalyticsKeeps track of the current visit2 years

These are analytics cookies. They tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they come from, so we can improve the site. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

This website also loads its fonts from Google Fonts. That doesn’t set cookies, but your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them.

In the Linq app (app.linq-business.com)

__session, __client_uat and other __clerk cookiesClerk (our sign-in provider)Keep you signed in securelyWhile you’re signed in
i18next (cookie) and i18nextLng (local storage)LinqRemember your languageUntil you clear them
Local storage set by the appLinqRemember the last event you met contacts at, to suggest it next timeUntil you clear them

These are strictly necessary for the app to work, so they don’t need your consent. The app doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies.

When you subscribe to Pro, PayPal’s checkout opens on paypal.com, where PayPal uses its own cookies under its cookie statement.

On public cards (app.linq-business.com/p/…)

People who view a Linq card get only the language cookie above, so the card shows in their language. Views, saves and taps are counted on our servers without cookies, and we don’t record the visitor’s IP address or device with them.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block the cookies the app needs, you won’t be able to stay signed in. Blocking analytics cookies doesn’t affect how the website works.

Changes

We’ll update this page when the cookies we use change, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
