Why a business needs a card too
A personal card answers “who are you?”. Customers ask a different question: are you open, where are you, what do you offer and what does it cost, and can I book? A Google listing answers some of that, next to your competitors and in Google's layout. The Business Card answers all of it on a page of your own, in your colors, with the people behind the business on it.
And because it's a Linq card, it works like one: a link and a QR code for your counter, door and flyers, one tap to call, get directions or save your contact, and a form whose messages land in your Contacts.
What's on the page
Customers who open it see:
- Your logo, cover, name, category and tagline, in your brand color.
- Whether you're open right now, when you close, or when you open next, worked out from your hours and time zone wherever the visitor is.
- A main button: Book now, Order online, Get a quote, See the menu, Shop now or Contact us, opening the link you choose.
- One tap to call, get directions, open your website or save your contact.
- Highlights such as Wheelchair accessible, Free Wi-Fi or By appointment, an about section, opening hours, and your location with a map.
- Services and prices (up to 30), photos (up to 12), reviews (up to 12, real ones you have permission to share) and questions and answers.
- Your team, each person linked to their own card, where visitors can save their contact.
- A contact form whose messages land in your Contacts.
Sections you leave empty don't show. The full list is in Your Business Card.
Open now, worked out for the visitor
Tick the days you're open and set your hours, with up to three ranges a day for a lunch break or hours that run past midnight. Pick your time zone, and the page shows Open, Closes soon, Opens soon or Closed from your hours, wherever the visitor is. Add a note for exceptions, like public holidays. The example page in the hero does exactly this: its status runs on your clock, and the slider under it moves through the week.
Your team, on the page and linking back
Switch on Show our team on the page and everyone's live team card is listed. Each opens that person's card, where the visitor can save their contact and send their details back. Team cards link back the other way too, with Part of and your business name, so a customer who met one person can find the business, and a customer who found the business can reach the right person.
Linq Business includes a team of 10; each extra member is $2.99 a month. How team cards work.
Messages land where you work
The page's Get in touch form sends the visitor's details and message to one person's Contacts, like any contact shared from a card. They get the usual notifications, and with integrations the message goes on to your CRM through Zapier, Make or a webhook. You choose who receives them under Messages go to.
Set it up in an afternoon
- Upgrade to Linq Business from Plan in the app. If you don't have a team yet, Set up your Business Card creates one for you.
- Open your team, then Business Card in its menu. Linq starts the page from what your team already has: its name, brand color, website and everyone's live team cards.
- Fill in the rest section by section, with the preview beside you. Save, then Publish.
- Download the page's QR code for your counter, door or flyers. Every team member's card links to the page too.
On Pro, Business Card in your team's menu shows a preview of your page, already started from your team, with the way to upgrade.
See what the page does for you
The Performance panel shows the last 30 days: views, calls, directions, website visits, button taps and saves, with a chart of daily views. Visits from link previews and bots aren't counted. Messages from the form show up in Contacts like everyone else you meet, with the same follow-up reminders.
What it costs
The Business Card is part of Linq Business: $19.99 a month, with everything in Pro and a team of 10 included. Each extra member is $2.99 a month. From 8 people, Business costs less than Pro with extra seats, and the page comes with it. If you leave Business, the page goes offline at the end of the period you paid for and nothing is deleted.
