New in Linq: team cards, seats and email invitations

Give every colleague an on-brand team card, invite people by email, see how the whole team's cards perform, and add seats as your team grows.

Teams have been part of Linq Pro since day one, but they mostly brought people together under one name. Today’s update makes them a proper way to run your company’s business cards: everyone gets a card in your brand, you keep them complete and live, and you see what they bring in.

A team card for everyone

Every member now gets a team card: a digital card in the team’s brand, with its own link and QR code, separate from their personal card.

  • Your brand, set once. Choose the team’s company name, website and brand color in Settings. New team cards start with them, and Apply team brand updates every card in one go.
  • Owners and admins stay in control. From Team cards, edit anyone’s card, publish it or take it offline, and see at a glance which cards are live, still a draft or not created yet.
  • NFC cards for the team. Give a Linq NFC card to a member by its serial, and a tap opens their team card. If they leave, the card comes back to the team.

When someone leaves, their team card goes offline and the contacts it collected stay with the team. Their personal card isn’t affected.

Invitations that arrive by email

Invite one person or a whole list of addresses at once, as members or admins. Each person now gets an email with a button to join, in the language you use Linq in: English, French or Arabic.

Joining is simpler too. The invitation page fills in the invited address, asks people to sign in or create a free account depending on whether they already have one, and takes them straight into the team afterwards. No more “accept” step after signing up.

Owners also get an email when someone joins, and when the team uses its last seat. How invitations work.

Team insights

The new Insights page for teams shows how the whole team’s cards perform over 7, 30 or 90 days: views and the actions they led to, where views come from (QR code, link, NFC, email signature or video call background), which links people tap most, and how each member’s card is doing.

Seats

Linq Pro now includes a team of 3 seats: you and two colleagues. Each extra member is $2.99 a month, with no minimum number of users. Add or remove seats anytime on the team’s Plan & seats page; PayPal bills the new amount from your next payment date, and we email you to confirm each change. How seats work.

Emails that keep you in the loop

Alongside invitations, Linq now emails you when it matters: a quick-start guide when you sign up, a confirmation with your details when Pro starts, a note when you cancel (with the date your Pro ends), and a heads-up if a payment doesn’t go through. See Email notifications for the full list.
